Fr. Tom is the Pastor of Saint Ann.
Deacon Nicholas W. Bourjaili
Deacon Nick was ordained a deacon on July 23, 2006 by Archbishop John Elya. Deacon Nick and his wife Lila split their time between homes in Florida and Connecticut. They have two sons, Michael, and Albert, daughter in law Elizabeth, and grandson Nicholas. Deacon Nick was born in Lebanon and emigrated to the United States in 1970. He was graduated from St. Joseph Jesuit University in Beirut, Lebanon with a degree in theology and philosophy. Now retired, he enjoys woodworking and baking. When he is home at St. Ann, Deacon Nick prays a portion of the liturgy in his native Arabic monthly on first Sundays, reminding all of us of our community’s heritage from its founders.
Sister Mary Ann Socha and Sister Victoria Michalenko, of the Community of the Mother of God of Tenderness, make their spiritual home at St. Ann and live in Danbury, Connecticut. Sister Victoria has served as a Cantor at Saint Ann for many years. Natives of Massachusetts, the Sisters received their religious formation with the Felician Sisters of Our Lady of the Angels Province in Enfield, Connecticut and were accepted by the Melkite Eparchy of Newton in 1974 under the patronage of Most Revered Joseph Tawil. The Sisters directed the Religious Education program at Saint Ann for many years.
